Around 1.100 people are diagnosed in the UK every day with cancer and roughly 40% of those cases could be prevented.
Did you know that one area that can reduce your risk of cancer is limiting your alcohol intake. There is evidence to suggest that the risk factors of alcohol increases in these 7 cancers:-
- Breast
- Bowel
- Stomach
- Head
- Neck
- Liver
- Oesophageal
Not to mention the calorie and sugar intake that may impact weight and blood glucose regulation.
It’s not easy sometimes to give up alcohol completely. By being mindful of your alcohol consumption and cutting back is a step in the right direction.
